Hi guys, welcome to my blog! I'm sorta new at this so please be nice! HEHE. so for this post I think it would be nice to post a haul (yes, a book haul not any other haul if you're wondering) for the month of August I have accumulated a total of 10 books (this is a large number for me, since I usually buy few books each month so that I won't be broke). well then, let's see the books!
The first two books I obtained online through Periplus (the online bookshop). so, I got these books as I was browsing through the bargain section of the site and just screamed when i found that there was Into the Darkest Corner because since I saw Mahima's Instagram (@livresque) where she said that the book was better than Gillian Flynn (and I loved Gillian!). Shards & Ashes was actually an impulse buy to be honest, I bought it because Veronica Roth was in it. This book is like an anthology or collection of dystopian short stories (hope it'll be good!)
The next three books are used books I obtained online through a website called BukaLapak by absolute luck! I have been looking for these books for a while now and now it's in my hands YEAAH. these books are in a pretty good condition too! (except for Uglies, it has kind of a weird form of the book) btw, can we just acknowledge how beautiful these covers are?! TOTAL #bookandface material. Now I only need to find the fourth book so I can marathon it!
Moving on to the next books these beauties I bought from Togamas bookstore. since I finished Inferno by Dan Brown (Indonesian version) last week I've been craving to read more Indonesian version books so I bought these guys. 1984 was probably my most wanted classic book that I need to read and since I can't seem to find the English version I'm fine with the Indonesian one. I bought If I Stay because the movie is coming out soon so I'll need to read it first before watching the movie. I've heard so many great things about Amy & Roger's Epic Detour (people say it's a fun road-trip book and I haven't read any road trip book so might as well try it) and for Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika, this book was what I was searching for first at the bookstore, because ever since I saw 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa (the movie) I need to know more about the authors' journey!

Negeri Van Oranje by Wahyuningrat, Adept Widiarsa, Nisa Riyadi and Rizki Wahyu Permana |
The last book in this haul is Negeri Van Oranje, this book is another impulse buy for me cause when I read the synopsis of the book it's about some kind of college-survival-guide in Netherlands it seems kind of interesting so I bought it (another reason is that my sister is a student in Netherlands, so I wanted to see if she ever did the things in this book LOL)
So, those are the 10 books I bought in the month of August. I am excited to read these books after I finished An Abundance of Katherines (what I'm currently reading now, if any of you guys are wondering). See you guys on the next post! BYEEE!!
