"Ten Places Books Have Made Me Want To Visit (whether fictional or real)"
Well hi.
This is yet another meme on this blog, haven't done this meme in a while. Basically, the TOP 10 Tuesday meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Without further ado, here they are:
Well it's no surprise as to where I'm going with this. YES! Camp Half-Blood is my go-to desired destination in this book! Learning greek mythology and maybe discovering that I'm a half-blood! (I wish...*sigh*)
Capitol and all of the 13 districts is where I want to go, even if District 13 is just ruins. I wanna see how good people have it in the Capitol and see the suffering of District 12. Maybe even volunteer as a tribute at the reaping! (Well, maybe not...I don't wanna die just yet). Maybe what's most likely is that I'll be Katniss's sponsor at The Hunger Games!!
of course obviously I would have to include a Dan Brown book but which one to include? Out of all the Dan Brown books I've read I really was drawn to this one because VATICAN CITY!! OOOH how I want to go there!!
There's only one single reason why I want to go to this post-apocalyptic faction-based Chicago. I want to try the "flying fox" thingy that Tris tried after winning the war games. That's it.
This is of course the most obvious selection of places to go for me. NEW YORK!! All my life I've dreamed of going to NYC. and fortunately for me this book was in NYC. So, hopefully someday I'll truly be there *daydreaming*
After reading this book, I put Netherlands on my places-to-go list. I just think going there would be perfect with some good companies, which is your best friends! Just a fun vacation together!
St. Vladimir's Academy! Who knows maybe I'm secretly a Moroi?? Or a Dhampir? Either way going there would be fun I mean you go to school at night and you sleep during the day? Count me in!
Missouri, the only reason I want to go there is to help Amy plot her suicide (do I sound evil?)
I guess this is also Chicago? or Gutshot, Tennesse? I dunno the places don't matter as long as I can meet Colin Singleton. I want to know how that boy's mind works.
I really want to try living in The Community, I mean it seems so peaceful there...people living together in harmony without any sign of chaos at all. They can't even be angry, because all you have to do is apologize to them and they'll accept that apology and move on. Simple right?

  2. I definitely just had a WTF moment when I saw Gone Girl on your list. I do like your idea to visit The Community from The Giver though. I think I would go nuts in such a peaceful place, but it's interesting to think about visiting.

    1. I don't know why also I want to go visit Amy, I just know in my mind that I should lol. Yes, visiting The Community would be nice and living there also but not too long cause eventually you'll get bored out of your mind!
